Description
This has been designed to support the White Rose Maths Year 9 scheme, pupils are asked to find averages of continuous data represented in grouped frequency tables. This Treasure Hunt is differentiated to two levels, amber and green. The green treasure hunt includes the extra challenge of finding missing frequencies from the tables given the estimated mean.
Treasure Hunt activities promote cooperative learning and engagement by pupils working in pairs to find the correct answer. It can be used as the main lesson activity to determine what learning has taken place and also it is a great revision exercise.
