Ratio using the Bar Model Treasure Hunt
This treasure hunt activity promote cooperative learning and engagement by pupils working in pairs to find the correct answer. It can be used as the main lesson activity to determine what learning has taken place or it is also a great revision exercise. This treasure hunt activity has been prepared to practice the skills of ratio; sharing amounts using the bar model and solving problems of more or less. It was designed to support the Key Stage 3 White Rose Hub scheme of work for Year 8, Autumn term.
It is differentiated to three levels of difficulty; red, amber and green and is developed with KS3 bar model in mind, but could be used for Foundation GCSE students.
