Description
This activity requires pupils to practice their skills of using scales for models and maps to determine distances and also use metric conversion facts to give answers in sensible units. It has been designed to support the White Rose Year 9 scheme of work. This Treasure Hunt is differentiated to two levels of difficulty; each level has 10 questions.
Treasure Hunt activities promote cooperative learning and engagement by pupils working in pairs to find the correct answer. It can be used as the main lesson activity to determine what learning has taken place and also it is a great revision exercise.
